What is the difference on the circuit SPST/SPDT/DPST/DPDT?

SPST refers to Single Pole Single Throw. Single Pole Single Throw switch have One input and one output.Control only one device. This SPST switches serves in circuits as ON OFF rocker switches,SPST- NO or SPST- NC from micro switches,Momentary ON from anti vandal.

Rocker switch and micro switch and anti vandal switch from CX Switch available with mounted cutout of 8mm,12mm,16mm.

Below is an example of a circuit which utilizes a SPST switches(We take the examples of rocker switch, micro switch and anti vandal).

SPDT refers to Single Pole Double Throw. This SPDT switches have One input and two outputs.Control only one device for rocker switch. But for micro switch and anti vandal it can control two devices .The SPDT switch serves in circuits as ON OFF ON rocker switches,SPDT (NC +NO) from micro switches,SPDT (NC +NO) from CX Switch's anti vandal available with mounted cutout of 16mm,19mm,22mm,25mm,30mm.

Below is an example of a circuit which utilizes a SPDT switches(We take the examples of rocker switch, micro switch and CX Switch's anti vandal).

DPST refers to Double Pole Single Throw. This DPST switches have Two inputs and One output.Control Two devices for rocker switch. The SPDT switch serves in circuits as ON OFF rocker switches,DPST (2NC OR 2NO) from micro switches,DPST(2NC OR 2NO) from CX Switch's anti vandal available with mounted cutout of 16mm,19mm,22mm,25mm,30mm.

Below is an example of a circuit which utilizes a DPST switches(We take the examples of rocker switch, micro switch and anti vandal)

DPDT refers to Double Pole Double Throw. The DPDT switch is a switch that has 2 inputs and 4 outputs; each input has 2 corresponding outputs that it can connect to.

Each of the terminals of a double pole double pole can be a 1 of 2 positions. This makes the the double pole double throw switch a very versatile switch. With 2 inputs, it can connect to 4 different outputs. It can reroute a circuit into 2 different modes of operation.

The above picture is an example of a circuit which utilizes a DPDT switches (We take the examples of rocker switch, micro switch and CX Switch's anti vandal).

This shows the dynamic 2-mode capacity that DPDT switches allow, allowing control of 4 different devices (with 2 operational modes).
