What is the difference between latching(maintained or locked) and momentary (reset)function?

The CX Switch engineer was asked frequantly question is what is the difference between latching and reset?

Let's go through one by one.

1,Latching

When you push the anti-vandal's button and release the finger,the button lock and concave.when you push again and the button come up back to the original position automatically.

 

Latching with LED.

 A,The light of switch always on.when you push the button the device power on ,when you push again,the device power off.

 

B,When you push the button,the light of the anti-vandal switch turn on and the device power on,when you push again,the switch's light off and the device power off.

 

2,Momentary

When you push the anti-vandal's button and it is concave, and when you release your finger the button come back to the original position automatically.

A,Momentary on.

The light of anti-vandal is always power off.When you push the button the light of switch and device are power on and when you release they are all power off.

B,Momentary off.

The light of anti-vandal is always power on.When you push the button,the light of switch and device are power off and when you release they are all power on.
